New Giza Compound Cares aims to improve the Old Giza and improve the quality of life of its people and teach them proper hygiene. The initial steps that NEWGIZA has taken towards accomplishing this program was by giving them crocks to these poor individuals that walked bare foot all day long and performed there day to day job with no barrier to protect their feet.
On October 2nd, NEWGIZA launched “A Clog for A Clog” initiative for the first time in Egypt in partnership with the clogs company Suecos and the Banati Foundation. This event marks the beginning of NEWGIZA Cares, the company's CSR umbrella committed to the development of the community in which it operates. Boys and girls from Banati were invited to spend the day at the Pyramids; a first visit for most. And each child was given their very own Suecos clog to take home.
